Obama Will Not Make You Rich! November 5, 2008
Posted by drjackricci in Prosperity and Success.trackback
What’s it worth to you knowing that Obama is the next US President?
Change, opportunity, prosperity? What will he bring with him?
Will he help the economy? Will he end US health care problems? Will he provide jobs? Will he end the War in Iraq? Will he help the US to regain world respect? Will he help the Environment?
Those are some tough questions that will soon be answered when President Elect Obama takes office.
Now ponder these unique questions.
Will he make you a happier person? Will he make you a richer person? Will he write your new best selling novel for you? Will he create your new Fortune 500 company and hire you as president? Will he be responsible for giving you the ideas for your next joint venture project?
I’ll venture to say that you answered all of those questions with a NO.
Who did you vote for? Obama? McCain? Does it matter? Of course it matters. But does it Really matter?
Yes there will be policy changes. Yes, there will be answers to our questions.
Yes, there will be challenges and opportunities for growth.
Yes, there will be new programs that benefit others.
And YET… regardless of who our next President is you could still prosper handsomely.
What’s your purpose in life? To be happy right? The reason you want anything in life is because you are looking for the good feeling that comes with it.
Your ability to be happy, healthy, rich and in love are all independent of who is taking office in January.
There is only one elected official responsible for your vitality and prosperity… YOU!
You have the absolute power over how happy, healthy and stinking rich you become in the next 4 years.
Set your intention now. Be sure about it. Repeat it to yourself regularly with emotion and energy.
From this day forward, regardless of who is in political control, it is my dominant intention to look for that which pleases me.
From now on I will only look for those things about our government that I appreciate. I will give my absolute attention to the positive aspects of our national policy and rules. I will focus myself on the positive changes that will occur in the near future and find value in my country and government.
And by directing my attention to that which I like – in all the areas of my life – I will attract the people, situations and opportunities to help me achieve my goals.
After all, I have the power to move mountains and change worlds. And if I have the ability to conceive this idea, the Universe can provide it.
So now that the voting is over and the results are in, don’t forget to give yourself a vote for vitality and prosperity today and every day from here on!

I vote with a big YES! Thank you for sharing this! Sometimes we can get so caught up in what is going on around us. Some even use these activities as an excuse instead of taking personal responsibility for the direction of their lives. It is a great reminder to vote for our personal prosperity, in health, wealth and spirit!
In gratitude,

Hey there Jack! I agree with you 110%. I have been saying throughout the “economic crisis” that it just doesn’t affect me. When people were moaning about the price of gas I would just reply “well, I guess I’ll have to make some more money”. The election of a new president is always exciting, but it really won’t affect my life much at all. What will affect my life is me
