I suffered from debilitating neurological illness. I was considered partially disabled, but after a year of taking mind numbing medication I decided that I did not want to be sick. I changed my diet, got plenty of rest and decided that I was going to be better. I have not taken any medication in six months and my mind is clear. I do not feel that I am cured (my condition is incurable) but I feel that I allowed my body to regulate itself and naturally deal with it shortcomings. The body is a perfect machine that can self regulate if given the opportunity.

No meat, no dairy products. I went “cold turkey” so to speak. I also threw out all of my medications and invested in essential oils and all-natural “medicines.” All of that topped with daily exercise and constant laughter and I have never felt better. Let me backtrack: I was born 3 months premature and all my 22 years of life I have suffered from ear infections, constant croup, and frequent trips to the ER because of sinus problems and headaches. Then last summer, I was hospitalized and diagnosed with Susac syndrome and I lost my hearing and also my periphreal vision. That’s when I decided to change my life. I had an MRI recently and also recieved cochlear implants. The doctors looked at my MRI and unanimously came to the conclusion that I no longer have Susac syndrome and my eyesight has improved so has the hearing in my right ear. Changing my lifestyle has also helped my children who no longer visit the doctor.
